Plant Warranty
Thank you for purchasing your plant material from Poor Boy’s Garden Center. We are always here to help. Our warranty does not cover any plants that have died due to obvious lack of care, natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or plants not planted in the ground as determined by our staff.
- Trees & Shrubs: One year (12 months) from purchase date.
- Perennials: 30 Days for plant material in quart pots or larger.
- No Guarantee On: Annuals, hanging baskets, herbs, sod, vegetables, sale plants, holiday plants, water plants, groundcovers (4″ and smaller), or live Christmas trees.
Please note that any plants marked down 50% or greater from the original price are not covered under the warranty.
If you have any warranty claim, please return the dead plant and the receipt to us. Upon an approved return, determined by our staff, we will issue an “in store credit” for the full amount of the original purchase and there is a limit of one replacement.
Sorry, but there are no cash/credit card refunds for plants. Only store credit.
Return Policy
All returns must be accompanied by receipt.
In Store: We will gladly accept a return on any non-plant merchandise that is unopened, unused, untested, and in brand new condition within a period of 30 days. Upon approval:
- If paid by a credit card: A credit will be made back to the same credit card used for the original purchase.
- Other Payment Methods: A store credit/gift card will be issued.
Final Sale Items: Sale items of 30% or greater, all custom cut material, UV lamps, concrete products, terra cotta or clay pots, layaways/deposits, or special orders do not have any warranty – they are final sale items. Any and ALL Aquatic products (any and all warranties for Aquatics are done directly thru the manufacturers).
Defective items: Need to be reported to us within 72hrs. Beyond this time, we are both subject to the manufacturer policies which could result in you having to send the product back to them directly.
Misc. Items: Concrete items and pots should be inspected prior to leaving store
Home Delivery: Returns will only be accepted when it is our error. Please verify your receipt or online checkout prior to finalizing. If you require us to return to your home and is not our mistake, additional fees will apply.
Fish: (48) hour replacement or store credit.
